What is CBD Cannabidiol

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a phytocannabinoid, a naturally occurring compound found in hemp plants discovered in 1940. It is one of 113 identified cannabinoids in cannabis plants and accounts for up to 40% of the plant’s extract and has many potential therapeutic benefits. As of 2019, clinical research on CBD included studies related to anxiety, cognition, movement disorders, and pain.

CBD is non-psychoactive and non-intoxicating, meaning it does not induce any feelings of being “high” or “tipsy”. Extracts & compounds derived from hemp plants are legal and consumers can enjoy the many benefits this natural compound provides.

What is CBDA?

Cannabidiolic acid, or CBDA for short, is a natural compound that’s produced by the cannabis plant.

It’s primarily found in raw, unprocessed cannabis plants.

The main difference between CBDA vs CBD is that CBDA is a precursor chemical to Cannabidiol (CBD), which is a similar but not acidic. What that means is that it’s a natural compound found in the raw plant. As with many other cannabinoids, CBDA undergoes a transformation when cannabis is processed. When the plant is heated, cured, or dried, acidic compounds break down into new chemicals. This is the process that produces large amounts of CBD from CBDA.

Cannabinoids all affect your body through your natural endocannabinoid system. This system activates neurotransmitters, which can help moderate your brain function. It also helps regulate many other bodily systems. However, the effects of CBDA vs CBD are different, since CBD is active and CBDA is not.

Benefits of CBDA

Specially formulated to help maintain and support:

  • Healthy Muscle Function
  • Restlessness
  • Sleeplessness
  • Brain and Nerve Cell Health

CBDA is significantly more effective than CBD in helping support sleeplessness and restlessness and enhances joint mobility, muscle function and nerve cell health.

Research suggests that CBDA is more bioavailable than CBD.

This means that the body can process it and metabolize it faster and more easily. So not only does it work better, it works faster.

How to Administer CBDA
